Del Mar Race Track will be the place to be this Saturday (Nov. 7, 2015) if you like food truck fare. That’s right, this weekend 40 Food Trucks from San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties are gathering, all in one location, for the Fall Food Truck Festival.

You’re encouraged to “bring your appetite” and sample the tasty food offerings at some of the “hottest eats in Southern California” on wheels. Some of the food trucks that are expected to participate include Devilicious, Cousins Maine Lobster, Rajin Cajun, Grater Grilled Cheese, and The Lobsta Truck. Check the Del Mar website for a complete list which is expected to be updated soon.

In the past couple of months, I’ve started to explore some of the local San Diego food trucks. The first one I tried was Grater Grilled Cheese. This food truck has been voted the “Best Grilled Cheese in S.D.” Grater will be at the Fall Food Truck Festival, and I recommend tasting one of these grilled cheese sandwiches for yourself.

The second food truck I’ve sampled was Devilicious. This food truck is known for its Lobster Grilled Cheese and Crab Cake Sandwich. Devilicious is also scheduled to be at the Fall Food Truck Festival, so save some room to try something from this menu too.

The Fall Food Truck Festival is happening on Saturday, November 7th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Seaside Concert Area of the Del Mar Race Track. There is free admission to the Food Truck area with paid racetrack admission ($6 for adults). Children under 18 are free (must be accompanied by parent/guardian).

If you’re a foodie, and looking for a fun way to eat your way through an autumn Saturday, be sure to check out this Fall Food Truck Festival in Del Mar.
